In Sixth Sense (2020), Wika wanted to showcase the political and historical elements that perpetuate a culture that is uniquely Polish. In these photos, she’s photographed a group of friends hanging out in a block of post-soviet flats. This is in a suburban area they often hang out in, one that has not changed much since the 1990s. As such, the photos emit a sense of nostalgia, and is reminiscent of popular themes of the decade.
